Breakfast Chef

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BREAKFAST CHEF AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL LIVERPOOL MGALLERY

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, you can expect your working day to include the following duties;

To prepare breakfast for our guests inclusive of hot buffet and continental products and ingredients.
To anticipate demand for breakfast by responding to in house numbers and breakfast bookings.
To prepare all food to cover our Afternoon Tea offering.
To prepare and cook food to order (inclusive of room service orders) within specified time scales.
To work in harmony and work in partnership with the Restaurant team to ensure seamless F&B delivery.
To communicate effectively with F&B team members and management.
To communicate efficiently and proactively with the Senior Kitchen team to ensure that we are well stocked for Breakfast and Afternoon Tea.
To deliver food of a 5 Star quality standard in line with H&S and brand standards.
Be responsible for the rotation, quality and control of stock and prepared foods.
Execute dishes to the expected high standard quickly, efficiently and consistently.
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of designated section.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Breakfast Chef you will need the following qualities and skills;

The ability to manage various sections of the kitchen, whilst ensuring Health & Safety standards are met.
To be flexible in your approach, and able to assist the Restaurant Team, Sous Chef and any other members of the kitchen brigade when required.
A team player who thrives in the hustle and bustle of a busy kitchen department and collaborates well with others.
Someone who is passionate about food and standards.
Previous experience in a similar role, at either Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie level.
An understanding of quality control, kitchen standards and adherence to HACCP. A food hygiene and allergen qualification is highly desirable but full training will be given.

Chef de Partie

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CHEF DE PARTIE AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL LIVERPOOL MGALLERY

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting to the Executive Head Chef, you can expect your working day to include the following duties;

To run and supervise any kitchen section to the required standards set by the Head Chef / Sous Chef
Supervision of the Commis Chefs to ensure all preparation of the designated section is complete and ready for each service
Be responsible for the quality and control of stock and prepared foods
Execute dishes to the expected high standard quickly, efficiently and consistently
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of designated section

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Chef de Partie you will need the following qualities and skills;

The ability to manage various sections of the kitchen, whilst ensuring health & safety standards are met
To be flexible in your approach, and able to assist the Sous Chef and any other members of the kitchen brigade when required
A team player who thrives in the hustle and bustle of a busy kitchen department
Someone who is passionate about food and willing to learn
Previous experience in a similar role, at either Chef de Partie or Demi Chef de Partie level.
An understanding of the pastry section is highly desirable
An understanding of quality control, kitchen standards and adherence to HACCP, a food hygiene qualification is highly desirable but full training will be given.

Night Auditor

A NIGHT IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT AUDITOR AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL LIVERPOOL

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting to the Nights Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following;

Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional service
Take initiative to create a personalised and memorable experience to our guest journey
Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay through up-selling
Assist the Night Manager in processing the Night Audit

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Night Auditor, you will need the following qualities and skills;

Previous experience in customer facing role is an advantage
Ability to take decisions and think on your feet
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent interpersonal skills and positive attitude

Computer literate and ability to learn new software

Spa Therapist

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SPA THERAPIST AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL, MGALLERY

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting to the Spa Manager , you can expect your working day to include the following;

Delivering a high standard of Spa treatments including both massage and facials.
Actively encourage sales and inform clients about treatments.
Delivering Brand Standards
Achieving treatment and retail targets
Maintaining a professional, clean environment ensuring that every guest is comfortable.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

We hire mostly on personality & potential but here are a few of our requirements…

To succeed in the role of Spa Therapist, you will need the following qualities and skills;

Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Experience with Elemis is preferred but not essential
Impeccable attention to detail and customer service experience

Food and Beverage Team Member

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD AND BEVERAGE TEAM MEMBER AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL LIVERPOOL MGALLERY

What you’ll be doing…

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be based at the hotel on a Full-Time or Flexible basis (different contracts are available).

You can expect your working day to include the following;

Take ownership for your part of the guest journey and experience within the hotel.
To converse with the guests from the heart, being reactive to requests, taking and delivering food orders and anticipating their needs.
Deliver impeccable personable service, making Palm Court, The Botanic Tea Room and the Seaforth Restaurant THE place to be seen!
Be conversant with all of our tantalising cocktails, beverages and food menus
To be a team player, building collaborative relationships with the Kitchen and Bar teams for a seam free operation
Accept payments and balance receipts
